Warranties and Returns
The Crosley warranty
on most items is a 90 day warranty. If an item is defective within that
time, the buyer needs to follow the instructions on the warranty card
included with every Crosley item. This calls for calling the telephone
number on the warranty card, and obtaining a Return Authorization #..
Our policy, which is over and above the Crosley
warranty and runs concurrently with the Crosley warranty, is that we will
replace or repair items that are defective for up to 30 days from the time
you receive them. NOTE: This policy applies to merchandise shipped within
the US only. International customers will need to exercise their rights
within the Crosley warranty and deal directly with Crosley.
Items that are returned because the customer no
longer wants them are not covered by our 30 day return policy and are
subject to our 20% restocking fee.
A "3" Attempt Call Tag will be issued to pick
up the defective item. When we receive the item back we will repair or
replace and return it at our expense.
As many of you have learned we do inspect all
returned items. If the item has been damaged or mistreated, or had shipping
damage the consumer did not claim, or is not defective, we reserve the right
to charge you for the item.
The policy for the CR12 jukeboxes is slightly
different. It is for six months, rather than 90 days, and calls for the
customer to repackage it and make it available to the carrier for pickup and
return. If a jukebox customer does not keep the original packaging for the
length of the warranty we are not responsible for return packaging or
shipping to us.
We place an "Open Before Unpacking" note on the shipping
box. It contains a complete unpacking and instruction manual which instructs
the buyer that they must retain the original packing.
In the unlikely event that a jukebox is found
defective, we make every effort to work with a jukebox buyer to
have them assist in repairing the jukebox or assist in finding suitable
repair facilities. If that is not possible, defective jukeboxes may need to
be returned here for repair. If it's our fault, we'll make it good!
Shipping
Each product has a maximum fixed shipping charge added to it which you can see
on the product page. This applies to the lower 48 United States. There are no taxes except when ordered by residents of NC who will incur a 7% sales tax added to their subtotal.
Products with a selling price of $500 and above ship by air for Free.
Shipping damage
When a package is delivered to you, please inspect it immediately for any
obvious shipping damage. If there appears to be damage to the carton, you may want to refuse the shipment or note the damage with the carrier. If you accept it and there is concealed damage you must file a claim with the freight carrier as soon as possible.
